My aim is to provide high-quality, unhurried support that genuinely enhances your independence and quality of life in line with your goals and preferences. My standard rate is £35.00 per hour.
While there is no minimum visit length, sessions typically last over an hour. This ensures we have enough time to engage in meaningful activities at your own pace and practice skills safely. However, shorter visits or supplementary calls are available when this would be of value, for example, while supporting the establishment of routines, confidence building, or motivational support.
To ensure some coverage of my vehicle costs and travel time, a customised flat-rate fee applies to all visits based on your location.
Travel to you: I will always provide a clear, upfront quote for the flat-rate travel to your specific address before we begin working together, so there are never any surprises.
Community outings: If we use my vehicle for community outings or appointments during your visit, a standard mileage rate of 45p per mile will apply to the journey.
Initial introductory chat: Free / no obligation. This is a short phone or video call to discuss your needs, answer any questions, and see if my approach is the right fit for you.
Initial planning visit: Charged at the standard hourly rate. This is our first in-depth session in your home where we discuss your current situation and agree your flexible support plan.
Invoices are provided fortnightly and include a clear breakdown of visit hours and agreed travel fees.
Payment is required within 7 days of the invoice date and can be made directly via bank transfer.
To protect my time, I operate a tiered cancellation policy:
Less than 24 hours’ notice: Visits cancelled within 24 hours of the agreed start time will be charged at the full cost of that visit (excluding travel fees).
24-48 hours’ notice: Visits cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice will incur a 50% charge of the full cost of that visit (excluding travel fees).
If I ever need to cancel a visit due to unforeseen circumstances or illness, I will provide as much notice as possible and work with you to rearrange the session at your earliest convenience.
Please note that as an independent professional, I am unable to provide a substitute worker or emergency cover if I am unwell or taking annual leave. My services are designed to enhance your independence and wellbeing, and must not be relied upon for essential, time-critical daily care. It is important that you have alternative support in place, or are safe to manage independently, in the rare event that a visit needs to be cancelled or rearranged.
